Art has been a passion of mine since early childhood. I was lucky to have a supportive family and to have been able to attend the highly acclaimed Carver Center high school in Maryland. It truly was a place like no other, with life drawing classes, a darkroom, and our own studio space. In my studies at the Cooper Union in New York, I focused on using digital tools to create artwork. My interest in textile design and repeats came out of experimentation with different software glitches, and the resulting fragmented color fields they produced. A passion for textiles lead me to work in the home furnishings field where I was exposed to all aspects of production, from a sketch to manufacturing of goods. I also love working on art, illustration, and graphic design for various projects including album covers, books, and more.
